Well-Architected Framework Reviews
In-Depth Assessment: Cloudelligent performed a thorough evaluation of the customer’s architecture, workloads, and security measures. We leverage the CoreStack platform to ensure compliance with the six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. High-risk issues were quickly addressed by applying architectural best practices to ensure optimal performance.
Enhanced Security Measures
Centralized Organization: Cloudelligent established a hierarchical structure using AWS Organizations to group accounts based on business units, teams, or applications.
Identity Management: We integrated the customer's existing identity provider (IdP) with IAM Identity Center for single sign-on (SSO) across AWS accounts. Role-based access control (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) were also implemented for secure access.
Secure Network Configuration: Configured security groups and network ACLs within the VPC to restrict access and manage traffic.
Proactive Monitoring: Set up Amazon SNS notifications for critical events and Amazon CloudWatch alarms to trigger notifications for specific security and operational issues.
Cloud Cost Optimization
Billing Alerts: Enabled AWS Budgets to set up cost and usage budgets for monitoring AWS spend. Cloudelligent configured alerts to notify stakeholders when actual spending exceeds predefined thresholds.
Automated Optimization: We integrated the Archera platform which automatically insures, optimizes, and manages Koan Health's cloud resources to maximize savings and minimize risk.
