Well-Architected Framework Reviews

Cloudelligent routinely performs a comprehensive evaluation of the customer’s architecture, workloads, and security measures. We leverage the CoreStack platform to guarantee compliance with the six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Any issues are addressed by integrating architectural best practices for optimal performance.

Enhanced Security Measures

Corios leverages AWS Directory Service that enables users to access applications using their existing corporate credentials. Amazon Inspector is deployed for continuous scanning of Amazon EC2 to detect software vulnerabilities and assess network exposure. AWS Config is used for auditing, security analysis, and tracking resource changes.

For monitoring purposes, Amazon CloudWatch is deployed for monitoring the health of resources and is also used to create metrics and threshold crossing alarms from log text. Additionally, Corios leverages Amazon GuardDuty, an intelligent threat detection service, to monitor their AWS accounts, EC2 instances, and data stored in S3 buckets.

To further fortify security, we fine-tuned their Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) using Wazuh to monitor security events and vulnerabilities. Our experts also implemented advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. Segmentation Testing and Penetration Testing are done every quarter. Additionally, New Relic is used for performing a deeper diagnosis using synthetics and Clumio is deployed to securely store Amazon EBS backups.
